Sports 2 Reality is a comprehensive program designed to deliver trainings and psycho-educational programs that cater to a broad spectrum of individuals engaged in athletics at all levels. This encompasses athletes, coaches, officials, parents, fans, learners, sports leagues, educational institutions, as well as both public and private sectors. Sports 2 Reality recognizes the parallels between the domains of sports and life and seeks to address the common needs shared by individuals in both arenas. Our primary mission is to bridge the gap between sports and life by offering services that effectively target the universal challenges faced by those involved in athletics. Through a diverse array of offerings, Sports 2 Reality is committed to fostering personal growth, promoting well-being, and facilitating positive outcomes in both the realm of sports and life endeavors. Our comprehensive selections of services caters to a wide audience, including but not limited to youth, adults, sports programs, league and organization support, educational institutions, and the public and private sectors.

Qur-an Webb – Executive Director, Sports 2 Reality, Inc.

Qur-an Webb is the Executive Director of Sports 2 Reality, Inc., where he leads efforts to promote positive, meaningful sports experiences through education, mentorship, and leadership development. A lifelong athlete and advocate, his involvement in athletics spans playing, officiating, coaching support, and deep community engagement.

Originally from New Jersey and now rooted in Connecticut, Qur-an is a proud graduate of Southern Connecticut State University and the University of Connecticut. He brings more than 20 years of officiating experience across multiple sports, having served with the Central Connecticut Association of Football Officials, the Central Connecticut IAABO Board 6, the Connecticut Amateur Softball Association, and the Connecticut Board of Approved Baseball Umpires. His knowledge of sports rules, culture, and systems has helped him to support athletes, coaches, and officials as they navigate the pressure, structure, and complexity of competitive environments.

In addition to his leadership in sports, Qur-an is an Assistant Professor at Western Connecticut State University and an independent contractor focused on personal and professional development. Qur-an is an independent contractor for Lemons To Lavender, LLC where he also provides clinical services as a licensed mental health professional, offering counseling, psychoeducation, and therapeutic support to individuals, families, student‑athletes, coaches and officials. His clinical work emphasizes trauma-informed care, emotional resilience, and helping clients build practical skills that enhance well-being on and off the field.
Qur-an has also made a significant impact on public policy. He played a pivotal role in advancing landmark legislation in Connecticut, including Substitute Senate Bill No. 962 (Public Act 15-94), which introduced education on safe social media use and computer programming in schools, and Senate Bill No. 949 (Public Act 17-67). As the Connecticut Chapter Lead for Media Literacy Now, he continues to champion education that empowers youth, families, and communities.
Across all aspects of his work, sports, education, clinical services, and advocacy, Qur-an is committed to fostering resilience, leadership, and equitable pathways for success both in sports and in life.
